Tourists Touristes There are a wealth of tourist sites that are all present in the nearby area. Internationally, the Languedoc is recognised as a premier destination and we have had tourists from all European countries and beyond. Local events such as the week long Poetry Festival in Lodève also pull in the crowds. Il existe une multitude de sites touristiques, tous présents dans la région voisine. Nous avons eu des touristes de tous les pays d’Europe et au-delà . Les événements locaux tels qu’une Festival de Poésie attire bien du monde. Walkers Ballades a Pied There is an endless supply of ‘pilgrims’ making their own way across the Saint Jacques de Compostelle route, all needing accommodation and refreshment, and we also offered four day hikes on the route with pick ups and drop offs as appropriate. Additionally we offered drop offs to seven points, all within a 30 kilometre radius of the B&B, and guests made their own way back on foot down established paths and track ways. Furthermore, another series of circular walks are also available, beginning and ending at the B&B. In short it is a walkers’ paradise and targeted advertising will build on the tradition that we have already established. Buddhists Bouddhistes The largest Buddhist temple in Europe, Lerab Ling is just twenty minutes’ drive from the B&B. Retreats of at least two to three weeks take place throughout the year and particularly so in July and August. You are guaranteed full occupancy at the time of these retreats and will also benefit from short courses and introductory sessions which also occur regularly. Friends and family of those Buddhists on three year retreats frequently visit and they too need accommodation. We have a database available of previous guests, many of whom have already stayed here for three years running. Pleine occupation vous est garantie au moment de ces retraites et vous aller jouir aussi des formations de courtes séances d’introduction qui ont lieu aussi régulièrement. Les parents et les amis des Bouddhistes qui suivent des retraites de trois ans visitent fréquemment et ont besoin d’hébergement. Nous avons une base de données disponible des clients précédents dont beaucoup ont séjourné pendant trois ans de suite. 
The Michel de Grandmont Priory is seven kilometres from the B&B and we have accommodated numerous parties who are attending weddings at this splendid location. This is a market to build on. Guests generally stay two to three nights and book three to four rooms. We have also had several cycling parties staying here: French, Irish and German. We used to hire out bicycles, but they can also be rented at nearby Lake Salagou. Le Prieuré de Michel de Grandmont est a sept kilomètres du B&B, et nous avons accueilli des nombreux partis qui ont fréquentées les marriages à cet endroit splendid. We offered evening meals of four courses including wine, at 22 euros per person, and this proved to be a useful addition to our income. There are about ten restaurants within walking distance of the B&B but many guest appreciate and enjoy the possibility of dining in.
